Engadine Dragons JRLFC Grading Guidelines
All participants/players for the Engadine Dragons JRLFC in ages ranging from U8 to U16 are to
be graded in the appropriate division/grade according to the participants/players ability and
skill level.
Grading is beneficial to ensure a safe and positive environment for participants.
In addition to this, the players are graded so they are playing with, and against players of a
similar ability while nurturing and developing all players’ skill level.
The Engadine Dragons JRLFC follows the NRL National Code of conduct which can be found at
Grading Guide
The following will be taken into account during the grading process; but will be not limited to:
- Week to week training
- In house games
- Trial games
- Grading trials
Grading Personnel
The above criteria will be attended to and monitored by the Engadine Dragons independent
grading committee members, which have been appointed by Adam Peek; Coaching and
grading co-ordinator. Opinions of all appointed coaches will also be considered in the grading
process; however, the final decision as to a player’s division/grade will always be determined by
the Engadine Dragons Grading Committee.
At the end of the grading process, any appeals should be put in writing for the attention of
Adam Peek, and will be considered by the Engadine Dragons Grading Committee.
Note: Please inform Coaching/Grading co-ordinator with group training commencement times /
dates. This will ensure a smooth progression for a successful season ahead.
